Major change of plan ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Right so during my second week in norway instead of staying here for one month im staying here for 2 weeks and 3 days now because i was planning on staying here for a month but that did not go to plan then i was going to go a week on sunday but then i found out my mum was throwing a party and wanted me to be there and that was on saturday so i was gonna catch the flight back on friday but there was no flight on that day so then we tried thursday and same again no flight so we checked Wednesday and now im coming back next wednesday.

but at the moment im not doing hardly anything so i think its better for me to go back and start looking for an education and plan a night out for my birthday.

So i'll cya soon this is going to be my last post from norway so cay when i get back into england

Week 1 in Norway

So i am in norway after giving up looking for another job which will only lead for me being redundant again! anyway so i arrived in Norway on sunday evening and the flight sucked big time i was too tall for the seats and my legs could not fit behind the seat because although ryanair are cheap and always on time (10 mins early) but they are not award winning when it comes to comfort. Anyways i have not been doing much just helping my uncles out doing oddjobs and keeping much more fitter than i was before just going for long walks and eating like 5-6 fruits a day and i have just recently signed up with a gym over here which is good. The weather so far is not the best but instead of snow its has been raining but for a couple of days now it has been sunny and also today its clear. its nice and chilled out here nice views unlike some parts of england if only england was like norway with a small population no polish people in sight and always cheerful. But i guess if we were all the same the world would just be boring. I had a big talk about my future yesterday about what i should do because i have been offered to stay here until summer and help fix up and work in one of my uncles new bars or i go back to england find a job or go back there and pursue an education.

Well i think im going to go back in a couple of weeks and start looking for an education i think thats important. I speak to so many people who say "hey your lucky your earning money and im here getting a sucky education" well take it from me i am 16 turning 17 in 2 weeks and already since i have left school i have been through 4 jobs already Roofing,volunteer work in holland ,marketing,and telesales. Now that is alot within about 7-9 months of me leaving high school and i cannot go anywhere higher because my education is crap. So this is why i am going to have an education because i need positive and stable future. So i advise that an education counts even if its boring that boring stuff you will learn will give you a house a car and a family. So don't rush your life in education like i did because it could ruin you and your family.

Hello all fellow readers

Hey everyone im back. So 2 months out of school i started a new job with a "Professional" marketing company called P&G marketing and they apparently were selling big named products to the public e.g Disney,Vivitar,Crayola which is true because i saw the products for myself but i was tied into a new division within the company and we were selling a car care product called FW1 or Fast wax 1 which was a wash and wax in a tin and was apparently HUGE in the states. So on my first week i made about 20-25 sales and my trainee manager thought i was a pretty cool guy infact to be honest i had 2 guys helping me and they were called Jack and Ian. Now on my 2nd week Not so good making the same old sales but then i came to i think it was tuesday which was my last day with the company but i did'nt know that. So i was told to go to the far side of manchester and do some pitching to customers at a texaco garage. And i was with another newbie called Robbie he was a nice guy but a snitch but i will get to that in a moment. Anyway here is the reason i got fired is because a man in white van pulls up and i went up to him to try and sell this product and he said something like " i would'nt think about doing that my lad" i say "why not?" and he goes because this my son is a military vehicle and if the army finds out what you've done they will slay you for it". Now at this point i burst out laughing at this customer think WHAT A TARD! and so we get kicked off the fuel station and had to go to our trainee managers area where he was selling. And Ian grabs robs and goes something like "How was amir today" or something like that and he really dropped me into and got the sack because of that ass. But i got the better winnings because he gave me his notepad with everthing he needed to know in order to teach others and i forgot to give it to him. so i still have that book well just blank pages the reszt of its in the bin and he would of probably had to start from scratch OWNED!.

Now 2 weeks after i get fired i found another job with a company called Communications Direct now this was based in the nice modern area of Salford (Harbour City) and in my first week i met so many cool people and they were called ,Chris,Bilal,Joe,Anthoney,Ryan,Kerry(who left on something like day 3,Amanda,Qasim, and err oh yeah not forgeting peter. now the only person i had a problem with was this peter guy the gayiest guy i have ever met now he was a nice guy to talk to but his voice was so annoying it was unbelivable and another problem with him was he was way way TOO OPEN about his sexuality and i had a problem with that and i tried to avoid him as much as possible but he clearly was Puff of the year 2006 no doubt about it. Anyway so we were given one weeks training and then after that week on our first official day we all got off to a great start and i got some sales early in the morning which i thought was impressive and so a few hours later at around 4pm if i can remember this guy comes running in to our office and goes "OKAY GUYS I WANT ALL 8 OF YOU TO LOG OFF AND HEAD TO THE 7th FLOOR PLEASE DO IT DO IT NOW PLEASE THANK YOU" HURRY UP" and so i thought are we this good that we get to go home early because our shift was supposed to be 9am-6pm.

So i am at the 7th floor we are all wondering what the hell is going on and then you've got anthoney complaining about the weather and talking about a vending machine. He was a jamaican guy very very funny and a really nice guy to talk to. so at about 4:30pm we heard this short fat welsh guy say "Can you all crowd round please all of you" "Our administrators from head office have told me that the manchester office is not making its target and we have been told to cease trading immediatly" at this point i was bang on the phone telling my dad what had happened there were quite a few on the phones as soon as he mentioned it and it was like being in a stock exhange or somthing. Then some other woman who was from the admin of head office said " We cannot say how sorry we are and those who are wondering about their pay you will have to make a claim off the goverment" and as soon as she said that! a huge ARGHHH was let off in the room and everyone had to collect their redundant papers. during while all that was happening a few people was heading downstairs and disconnecting computer moniters and mouses and completly dismantleing the office i would of took a moniter but instead i took a mouse for my laptop because i had no room in my bag.

so i headed home after all that but i e-mailed the guiness world records a day later to ask them if i am the youngest and fastest person made redundant in the world they said they will contact me within 4-6 weeks to confirm that. So who knows maybe it will.

So now i am going to go to norway for a while for vacation because im getting really annoyed about getting a job never keeping it for more than a month.

so i will keep you updated while on vacation and take some photos of my journey in norway,

Hey everyone sorry i have not updated in a long long time i've been very busy recently so lets start from here.

So yesterday i went to on a night out around manchester and it was an amazing night well after 1 hour and a half of being there because we had 2 people in our group who were utter twats one person thought he was tough and thought he was clever by smoking on the tram to manchester which was not because we nearly all got kicked off because of him and another reason i thought he was an utter prick was because he thought just because he was 18 meant that he could give me shit all of the time but heres the thing he was a skinny piece of shit and also a bloody shrimp of a person so when we got off the tram i was going off my head at him luckily my friends stopped me before it really got serious so from there we headed off to the printworks which is like a indoor building with alot clubs inside it but this is where the 2nd numbskull comes into play she is 17 and because she gets in all the clubs in our town she thought she would'nt need any ID for manchester now that is what i call one clever bastard ;-} i was wise to take my brothers ID because im only 16 but i got in everywhere but the 2 idiots could not get in anywhere and so they started complaing about how we should all go back to bury for a night out and i was going insane (just for the record BURY IS SHIT) anyway my prayers were answered when i went in Teasers which is a bar where all the hot women dance while ur trying to order a drink without being distracted so we all go in and guess who could'nt get in ? them 2 plus another girl but she was ok so we had enough and did not come out of the bar so we ditched them and our night got into gear and we were underway

after slobbering over the sexy dancers we started getting the drinks. So i get my drink and theres this woman cleaning up this water so i dash over there and start skidding on the puddle of water on the floor but then disaster struck when i split my quarter full bottle of smirnoff ice but all was not lost the woman got me another one for free YAY! and once again our my friends started dancing and then we got out picture taken and then that got put on a keyring for the cost of £3.50 which is not too bad i think it was worth every penny to be honest so 3 hours later we leave the bar and come across some people giving out cards to enter the sports bar for free but this women overheard us that it was our friends Birthday so she got us straight in and we got given 3 free shots i belive the shots were by a company called Corkys they were very nice and it was very cheap in this bar oh by the way this was called the sports bar so we had a few games of pool and got smashed on these WKD fakes called Vk they were brilliant and also very very cheap too. after that we all went to the nightclub which we stayed in for the rest of the night this club was called Walk about and what a club to walk about in 3 floors of heaven and women we were on the top floor for most of the night then we went to the 2nd floor which was deicated to rock and indy and that was a great night but downside was 2 of my mates could not get in because one was wearing boots so they stayed at the sports bar all night on vodkas and Vks. So we head back to the top floor because at the beginning of the night i asked the bloody DJ to put some dance music on by a group called soulwax and 2 hours later he still did'nt have it on and then 3 hours later i asked him again and then he said "sorry mate last song" so that annoyed me and then in comes a girl who starts dancing with my mate and tries getting off with and then she comes out with the reply of " sorry i have a boyfriend" I mean WTF! it turns out she was trying to steal his wallet out of his back pocket but fortunatly she failed which is good.

So we leave the club and all meet up in the end and what better way to end the night other than get a Subway meal and that went down a treat with my friends and hundreds of other people queing up for it. So at this point we only just check our watches and realise we have 15 minutes to catch a bus back home but we fail on this and end up waiting at the Malmaison hotel which is owned by non other than Simply red but we never went inside it :( but we did see and 1960s bread wagon outside it saying Malmaison ^^ so we order a mini bus which only cost us around about £28 but normally it would cost about £40 but we got given a good deal i think the reason for that was because it was a bag of crap and had never heard of the invention of suspension.

So i finally get home for 4:50am and i had work for 12pm that afternoon but that is a whole different story

day 7

Not much happening just had a really lazy day today just met up with all my friends in Leiden in the evening and just had a few drinks here are some photos of them in did'nt manage to get them all this night so that kinda sucks i'll put on as many as i can .

Day 7

Right since i had enough with this Hostel i've decided to go on my bike and cycle to Leiden Which was pretty fun so i travelled through about 5-6 towns on the way to Leiden from Utrecht ,So i cycled from Leiden to Marrsen that was a nice town not much going so i web to their local libary to chill out for a bit then 1hour later i set off to Breukelen which apparently is where New York got their name Brooklyn i wonder why ;@. i did not stay in breukelen for long just about 10 minutes to get directions to my next destination which took nearly 3 hours to which was Woerdon which i have pictures of , its a really nice place to go i locked up and went for a walk around their town and bought some chips and pizza which came to 2.56euros due to thinking i was a student ^^ and then asking for more directions to my next destination which was Bodegraven which also had nothing going on but it had Internet and it was 2 euros an hour in internet so just had an hour on it then had a cup of coffee and off i went to the furthest cycling which was to Nieuwkoop and don't ask what i was doing there i was just there. I must admit it had a nice lake and alot of nice boats and houses. And then to Alphen aan den rijn which was a pain to get to because i did'nt know if i was in Alphen because i asked alot of people and they kept saying either im in Alphen or this other place but ye that was also a nice place to be but just passed through it until i tore my pants because i got them caught in my bike chain so i stopped off in a resturaunt and get some scissors and turn my pants into shorts.

And so i was upto my last leg of the journey which was heading into Leiderdorp to leiden which took another 2 hours to get there and as soon as i arrived to Leiden i had to find a place to stay for the night so i was looking around a few places but they were so dam expensive so i ended up staying at the Hotel Van Der Valk in leiden which was really nice to stay in there . And i just stayed in the hotel all night and talking to the cool receptionist aswell who was called Rob.

Day 6

Right i have had enough of this Hostel now because since i have got here i have been moved around from room to room and it has not been pleasant so i have had to crash on the couch for the past 2 days ands its horrible because theres this Dutch tall guy who dresses like a scrubber and all he does is channel change and its so annoying and also he stinks so badly its quite disturbing and it has been really dirty here and theres nothing to ever eat here apart from Bread cheese and peanut butter and no one can be bothered shopping for supplies. And if that was not enough in one of the rooms there was a Staffordshire Bull Terrier in one of the Hostel rooms and that stupid old woman who is the manager told me to clean up after it and she is really horrible and has loads of nits in her hair along with her fat friend who stinks of BO and eats pies 24-7 and rolls around the hostel instead of walks. Theres alot of bed bugs and insects crawling around the sheets and that was left for me to deal with it. Also theres a couple of ignorrant people here but the rest of the people here are pretty cool to hang out with. So i am all packed and ready to ride to Leiden by bike because there are loads of bike trails leading to all major cities in Holland so im staying at some firends house and going to search for some work there so it should be fun so im going to go out now and get a bite to eat because i have always been eating inside here and because im low on money im not having a good vacation so it pretty much sucks and the trains have been expensive here so it has annoyed me.

Day 5

Well not a very constructive day just stayed in all day today not doing much but i managed to get talking to another guy who is from Florida and was heading out to spain yesterday and sold me his bike for 15 euros which is a pretty cool bike and fun to ride. So i decided to walk to the train station with him because i had nothing else to do and he had cut his Journey short so from spain he is just going to head back to Florida and then save up for another 2 years to travel again. So at about 9pm i set out on my bike with to guys from america and canada because they had rented out their bikes for a day but it took us 15 minutes to find this guy because they could'nt remember where the rental garage was but eventually we went back and then after 1 hour being in the Hostel i set ou again for a bike ride and just went in on direction and 1 hour later i end up near a place called Amersfoot it was fun until it started raining but even then it was warm rain so it did'nt bother me that much i guess. it was fun just one straight road and did't get back to the Hostel until about 12:30am and now because i have a decent bike im going to Cycle to Amsterdam nextweek but a day before that i guess i will cycle to leiden so its gonna be great to do that i guess but im gonna by a bike map and i dunno where to get one of them from :S but i will find one and very determined to .

Day 4

So after the great party lastnight i woke up at 2:15pm today and just stayed at my friends house all day untill about 8pm where we both met up with Maathijs and we cycled into the city centre of leiden about 10minutes away from us and stayed at a cafe where we met Geert he is a pretty cool guy to hangout and also there were 2 girls , Now i did know their names but i've forgotten tonight but they were fun also and have a good sense of humour because they seemed to laugh at all my jokes unless it was my northen monkey accent but i dunno but they were great people to chill with. So at 11pm that was when my train was going we left at the very last minute and missed the train so i was in for a big train Journey home so i had to catch the train to Schiphol Airport and then from there the next train was at 12:10am and that was to Utrecht Central Station and via Amsterdam Central station so i was an interesting journey i sat in 1st class because i could not be bothered going into second because it was 12am and there was no train ticket man anyway so i was the only one in 1st class :D.

so at 2am the train comes into Utrecht Central and i get off and i was embarresed about myself because i actually did'nt know where to go from this point and came down to the point where i had to ask for directions and then it took me 15 minutes to get to the Hostel and when i go into my room i see that another group has moved into it and im like WTF! so it takes me another 10 minutes to find my Suitcase but thankfully no one has take anything from it which is good. So now im just chilling for a couple of minutes then doing my Laundry

day 3

So yesterday was a brilliant day for me as i went to meet friends of mine for the 1st time ever so at about 4pm one of the friends from leiden says " Hey why don't you come to Leiden tonight because there all gettting their diplomas today and it would be a great suprise if you showed up" so i decided to go, so i go outside the Hostel and try and find my only to see that my stolen bike had been stolen again which really annoyed me so i go to the train station to go to leiden and i arrived there at 5pm and meet up with Yoine my friend in leiden and jeez i tell you now its the last time i go to leiden without a bike because i had to go on the back of his bike and it was on the biggest pains i have ever experienced in my life because his bike never had any suspension and im there telling him "try and avoid the big bumps" so he bloody hits nearly every bump man has ever made in leiden and my backside has gone so numb it was like i had morphine injected in it because it was that numb. So we finally after we go to Yoines house we head off to the Diploma assembly and yet again he hit every bump in leiden for no reason, So we arrive at the assembly and we are about 10 minutes late or something but it was like hitting aa wall as soon as we stepped in because the heat was immense and to top it all off because we were i was in Holland i realised that they were speaking Dutch so i was very bored and to top it all off it lasted nearly 2 hours after the Diploma it was time to meet the rest of my friends of Holland.

but during that 2 hours i was trying to hide myself so the rest of SvP could'nt see me but i got spotted by one of them (Eelco) and then i got around so i got rumbled in the end so so much for that one :S . So coming back to the end of the Diploma i met everyone there it was a great moment for me to meet them all it was great fun and one of the best parts of the Diploma assembly was it had FREE BEER and to top it off it was Heiniken so it proved to be a great diploma and so after that we headed off to this place and it was such a trek to get there and once again i was on yoines bike which proved to be painful and annoying because the road was so narrow and he cannot ride to save his life because we nearly ended up in a river a couple of times but we managed to make it so when we got there we nearly had to go because we thought a Police boat was coming on shore so we had to hide all the beers but it was a False alarm so on we went partying on and we had a great time everyone was out their heads and it was all good and i even got to tell some of my friends some practical jokes which would work wonders in Holland especially the Invisible wire trick that would go down brilliantly on cyclists. So we started a fire because there were mosquitos and midges all around us so we one of my friends Jens put a deodrant can on the fire and we thought because it was not hot enough that it would'nt explode but we were proven wrong and another friend Felix was next to the fire and the can exploded and the plastics had melted to his pantsnd it was extremly funny. So later in the morning at about 2am we started to get hungry and people started to go home i cannot exactly remember what we were doing then but i can remember having a music conversation with Eelco and chatting to Samov and Viktor about it too. at 3am it was all still good and so we started to get hungry so we decided to get our bikes and ride to Donner Dream but it was so annoying trying to get there because i kept losing balanced and we kept nearly falling over so i used i think it was either felix's bike or bikus bike i could't remember so it was all good in the end.

Going passed the train station we decided to hunt for bikes without a lock on so i could get a new bike and yoines bike had a flat tyre so he was annoyed about that so then we go to the Junkies at the train station and find some for 10Euros but i did'nt really want it because it was a smashed up and the seat was coming off but this guy was convinced that it work so i started riding it around the station but Maathijs was trying to convince me to buy itso i said to the Junkie that i will go to the bank and withdraw some money out of the bank but it was a fat chance that was ever going to happen so we also come across a donner kebab shop and at this point it was 4:30am and so we walk in and there was only lamb kebab on the spit roast and i asked him how much would it be for kebab and chips and the cheeky idiot says that will be 9 euros and i was like you can shove it where the sun don't shine mate.

so riding along Maathijs had apparently found a great shortcut for us to get back home but it took 30 minutes to reach there and to top it off there was this really annoying guy called Rolf or something stupid like that anyway and i cóuld'nt stand him infact i could punched him so hard he would come off his bike and also felt like buckling his wheel and he kept going on about how good scrubs is and how JD is such a cool person in it (Like a gave a dam)

So in the end we got home at 5:20am and if that wasn't enough it started thundering and i woke up like 3 times that morning

so far so good i've got myself some transport which i bought yesterday from a Junkie for 5 Euros so that saves me some money i guess but im kind of having money worries you see its bloody expensive over here i may extend my stay by a extra month so i can start work here but i will go around a few bars and see if they have any jobs on offer but i need to get a Sofi number (national insurance number) and open up a bank account

Good Morning

Hello, Good morning from Holland it has been a great Holiday so far although it only has been one day ^^) but still. I woke up this morning to a bunch of dutch playing a drum kit here and i asked a friend why they always play a drumkit here and he said "Because they are the Dutch and they live in a square metre of living space and don't have any room to fit anything in the rooms and so they come here and make an ass of them selves" i had such a great time yesterday BBQ and Pilsner it goes down well with the crowd :) so today i start work today doing the dishes and generally cleaning etc etc. im gonna meet a few of my friends today i guess in leiden providing that i know how to get there ^^ but i have made a few new friends as far reaching from Canada withing those countries i met a guy from Ireland and he is so cool to hang out also tells some great stories and has a brilliant sense of humour with he is doing a trip around Europe and he also has a blog but i've forgotten what it was called but i will post it on as soon as i get it. I also met a man from Poland and he is so funny and very fun to talk to i also met a guy from Canada, Now this guy is fun fun fun has also a great sense of humour and theres loads of other people i met here aswell including a guy from Newcastle i've been practicing my Bass Guitar also after 6months of non-use of mine but its been worth it.

So the weather here is great and so are the people also trying to find my way here was very difficult because it was very badly advertised at the front of the building and it turned out i walked past it about 5 times. I'll let you know if i do anything else today goodbye.

Im in Holland

Hey everyone im finally in Holland in a youth hostel its such a cool place to be at the moment and is a really good place to get on with everyone. we had a BBQ today and it was very different but i enjoyed it all and it was very fun to talk to people from around the world i spoke to Irish,polish and canadian people and lots lot more its gonna keep on coming i tried to ring a couple of friends today but they never replied but Utrecht Kicks ass if you wanna find me im staying at the B&B utrecht (city centre) so here i am.

Hallo!

right so tonight is a leavers party so i have my suit and no transport so we are off to a great start im trying to persuade my dad to take me before he goes out to the pub or where ever he goes but the bad thing is you can't get drunk but i can and i will because laws were made to be broken so aslong as i put my Oscar winning acting to the pace im in.

I will let you all know how it goes and i will be putting up photos on the site the day tomorrow if i can be bothered in doing so. Im excited about this prom but dunno how its going to be because i have an image in my head that everyone will be sat in a corner eating cocktail weiners and doing the hey macarea but its probably not going to be like that but if im right about that then thats just sods law and the way the weather holding out it may be raining tonight so we will all be indoors instead of being in the garden.

Month in Holland

Well excellent news i have got a job at a Youth Hostel in Utrecht near Amsterdam and Rotter -dam and i will be working there for one month . Im really looking forward to be working there its gonna be great and also to get away from rainy england and also meet loads of new people and i start earlier than expected because i was going to go on the 11th of july and they would like me on the 1st so im gonna have to speed the train and ferry tickets up and find a spending budget

Hostel

So i have a rough idea of what im going to be doing in Holland but thanks to Dumbledores army i now am thinking about staying in Holland for 2 weeks and if i can get work at a Hostel in Rotterdam im going to stay for a month so we will see how it goes then shall we?. Not l,ong to go now 19 days to go until i depart (hopfully unless my parents say over wise :S but lets hope we can stick to the schedule

So i start from Harwich catch a ferry to the Netherlands from the netherlands to germany from germany to denmark from denmark catch a ferry to Norway coming back from norway to sweeden ferry to denmark through germany through belguim through to france back to london towards manchester.

Hey so its a great day here in Manchester not much going though :( but still its the weather that counts because its England and we are the home of the rain and clouds so its not the best Holiday country to be at but still good enough. So im planning a Euro trip and my aim is to get to Norway so im trying to find a nice route to go to so im still working on that one i have found the rail ticket i need its not that bad actually eurrail card for one month its $259 and thats unlimited travel across europe. If anyone cares to join me on it contact me on amirlodge123@hotmail.com but im using the backpacking forums for this so anyway the reason im going on my own is because the vast majority of my friends are B-O-R-I-N-G! all they wanna do is be in cars sitting on a car park for about 4 hours a day and i feel sorry for them because there that boring i did ask my brother but he's just boring but also works so i'll give him that one i guess. Besides i think travelling on my own would be much much cooler.

So i have my last exam on Monday YES!! so im looking to go travelling for the quarter year that im off im looking for a european rail card so i can travel to Norway by train so i can visit my uncles. And also while im off im going to find a job and do a short college term for I.T.

I am very interested in computers because there quite fun to work with and i love gaming on them. Travelling is one of the best things that i have ever done so far at my age i have covered alot of ground, These are the places i have been to Ireland ,Scotland, Norway, Sweeden, Germany, Italy,Greece,Portugal,Romania and also Iran so far.......

Im not very keen on football to be honest but England play Trinidad today so lets hope for the best for them.
